Your Z – Marcel Advokaat – Z1000-A2 (rebuilt to Z900 specs)

My name is Marcel Advokaat, I am a Dutchman but I live in Austria.

Here are a couple of pictures of my bike, which started its life as a Z1000-A2.

Totally rebuild it (in our living room) to the specs of a Z900-A4, except for the color (Z1-B, but in the near future I will paint another tank set in the correct Z900-A4 green)

Engine is “Wet-blasted” in Holland, which is much nicer than normal sand-blasting.First months after finishing the bike I rode it with a Vance & Hines exhaust, but since August 2013 with a new 4 into 4.

Engine is the standard Z1000, 1015cc one with 28mm carbs from a Z1000 Z1-R (still looking for a pair of VM29SS Smooth-Bores for a normal price)

Bike will only been used at sunny days for a ride in the Alps, where I live.
