Kawasaki Z1 - Fifty years
Z1 at 50

1972 – 2022
To celebrate 50 years of the Kawasaki Z1, I have created a “Z1at50” webpage for those of you who would like to see your Z featured on this website.
This can be a Z you own now or have owned in the past.

This is limited to the following models (standard or modified):
746cc Z2 series
903cc Z1, Z1A, Z1B, (K)Z900 series
1015cc (K)Z1000 series

Obviously, not all the above Zs are 50 years old. Many Z1s will ‘only’ be 49 years old… …but the page is to celebrate the birth of the Z1 legend rather than the actual age of the individual motorcycle.
The page is also to celebrate you…
…because every one of you who has owned, or still owns, a Z1 (or derivative) is part of the Z1 story.

If you would like your Z featured on the “Z1at50” page, please send the following by email (address at bottom of page)…

Your first and last name (or just a nickname if you prefer).
Where you live. (country and general area is enough)
One photograph of your Z. (maybe a photo of you with your Z)
The year and Z model type. (This is so I do not mistakenly feature a Z1A as a Z1 if, for example, it has been modified to look like an original Z1.)
Standard spec or modified.
The years you owned the Z. (approximate if you can’t remember exact years)

eg Fred Bloggs, Arizona, USA, 1973 Z1 Standard US spec, Owned from 1982 until 1986.

If you wish to add more photographs and/or information, for example, a list of modifications, nostalgic tales of when and where you used to ride, or even a link to a YouTube video of your Z, etc, then please send that information too and I will create a page for you within the “Your Z” section.

The “Z1at50” entry will link to your own page in the “Your Z” section.

If you wish to feature more than one Z, they will be listed separately on the “Z1at50” page…
…and all together as a “Z Collection” on one page in the “Your Z” section.

Entries will be listed alphabetically by surname (or nickname where applicable).

Please send to paulgmercer@gmail.com and write Kawasaki Website in the subject line.
