Often described as the first true "Superbike", the Kawasaki Z1 is one of the most iconic Classic Japanese Motorcycles of all time.

This website is dedicated to the classic 903cc four cylinder air cooled Kawasaki motorcyles from the 1970s, starting with the Z1, then the Z1A, Z1B and the Z900. (KZ900 in the USA)

The website also includes the 746cc Kawasaki Z2 (750RS) and the 1015cc Kawasaki Z1000.

Please note that the KawasakiZ1.com website has no connection with any official Kawasaki websites.
However, I would like to thank Martin Lambert of Kawasaki UK for his approval in my use of the domain name KawasakiZ1.com.

I would also like to thank Dave Marsden of Z-Power for his help when I first hosted this website.

Thanks also to those of you who have allowed me to use photographs of your motorcycles...

...and to those of you showing your motorcycles in the "Your Z" section.

Click here for a selection of books and magazines featuring Z1s.
